IFJ | Lebanon: Stop weaponising defamation laws to intimidate journalists

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) joins its affiliate, the Union of Journalists in Lebanon (UJL) in urging the judiciary to uphold the country’s legal protections afforded to journalists under Lebanese Law, as well as to stop using criminal defamation laws and other vague legal provisions to intimidate and silence media workers.
